[ clearly this is already boding well. but he's going to arrive at the given time they agreed on, bundled up in his winter Amalthea wear, sans hat. being a charmer, he doesn't actually have anything to offer for the date. romance ]

[Well, Carnelian was given a hot dress on loan for the quest, so she is opening Henwen's door dressed in it. And smiling a little awkwardly.]

[ it's cute. and he'll pull off his coat so he doesn't die from the heat, glancing around their dorm, since this is a first for him ]

It sounds Doman, a little bit...that's kind of neat, isn't it, that there's some overlap in worlds?

[Gesturing around the dorm, from the kitchen to the gigantic nestbed in the living area.] This is Henwen.

It is. Neat, but strange.

[ looks where she's gesturing and nods, getting the color/team association down ]

I thought we could have...well, lunch, and talk for a while? I think that's how dates would go...

[I have no idea how this works.]

That sounds reasonable. I've never been on one. Not one I remember, at least.

[ he nods in agreement ]

...My experience isn't really applicable. So we'll just make it up as we go.

[Leading him over to the table! There's food! With fish!]

[ follows with her and will sit on his side of the table ]

Exactly. No reason not to have fun.

[It is a dinner spread! It has mackerel. And various other kinds of meat.]

Have you been here long, Haru?

[ oh, you really are a charming and wonderful hostess. you get +10 in the date field for the mackerel alone ]

Just over a week.

What about you?

About two weeks, so not much longer than you've been here.

How is your team? I don't know much about Amalthea.

[forthemackerel]

I see.

Amalthea... is nice. They've helped me a lot since I've arrived. Especially Rook. He's the member that's been here longest and he takes care of the team.

[queencrimson]

That's good to hear. It's a strange enough situation without being left to fend for yourself by your team...

It is.

How is Henwen?

[queencrimson]

[Oh no, Cascade. You don't know what you've done.]

Henwen is...[She smiles, really softly and gently.] Very close. They were very welcoming when I arrived...and we have a lot of younger members, so in a sense the team is treated as a family, for all of us.

[forthemackerel]

[ this is okay, you'll get some of his team-family feelings in return ]

Amalthea feels like that, too. Rook makes sure everyone feels welcome and secure. It's good other teams are like that, too. I met another member of Henwen, but never got her name.
