Citrine first because Henwen dere, but oh god tiny child must protect about sums it up. She understands Citrine's young, and so see things in much more idealistic ways and while she doesn't want to disabuse her of the notion that everything can turn out right (because she's a JRPG and will beat the world until it actually works that way), she worries, especially now after Isa's heart, that Citrine's ideals will end up getting her way more psychologically damaged by the bad games. As for Nightingale, Carnelian thinks she's a good person...with no spine and way too noncombative for the problems Kyr gives them. She vehemently disagrees with the notion that there's no point to fighting the Echoes and they should just keep their heads down, but she's not going to force Nightingale to fight either. She's just...going to do it without her.
